How to play SECTOR

SECTOR turns your city into the playing field. Grab a code from an organizer, gather your team and play live — quests, water wars, treasure hunts, domination or city races. Here’s how it works.

Quests

City quests

City quest: work through the levels along real streets. Solve tasks, enter codes, show up at GPS points and grab coins for speed and clean runs.

Goal: Clear every level faster and cleaner than your rivals. Your rank comes down to score and the time you spent.

  • You start on level one — the rest open up one by one
  • Each level has several tasks: codes, text, numbers, QR, GPS points, photos, quizzes
  • AI checks proof photos in seconds; the organizer reviews close calls
  • Coins tick in for speed — spend them on hints, radar and curses
  • The zone shrinks and a raid boss pushes everyone toward the finish
  • Win by clearing every level; your rank comes down to score and time

Who it suits: Groups of friends, teams and corporate crews who love puzzles, tactics and moving through the city.

Water wars

Elimination hunt

Elimination hunt: everyone gets their own target. Track it down, soak it with your water gun and confirm the kill by scanning the victim’s QR. Last one dry takes the win.

Goal: Be the last active player standing: hunt your target and everyone you inherit after them.

How a hit is confirmed

  1. 1.The hunter catches up to their target and soaks them with water.
  2. 2.The victim opens the app and taps «I got soaked — show my QR» — their code appears on the screen.
  3. 3.The hunter taps «Scan kill» and scans that QR — the hit is confirmed and they inherit a new target.
Treasure hunt

Treasure hunt

Treasure hunt: your team follows a route of points, solves riddles and collects items into the inventory. Gather them all — and the final treasure chest opens.

Goal: Together, collect every key item and reach the final level — the treasure chest.

  • The team walks the points in order across the city
  • Solve riddles to unlock the next point
  • Solved tasks hand you items: map pieces, keys
  • Items go into the shared team inventory
  • The final level is the treasure chest
  • No chasing, no elimination — a gentle pace

Who it suits: Perfect for kids, families and birthdays — a relaxed pace, no chasing.

Territory control

Territory control

Territory control: several control points are scattered across the map. Walk into a point zone and capture it — while you hold it, points tick up every minute. Rivals can take it back, so fight for control. The team with the highest score wins.

Goal: Score the most points by holding the control points longer than your rivals.

Race

City Race

City Race: teams tear through the city’s stations against the clock. Start together or in waves — hit the stations in order as fast as you can, and clear a task at each one. Mistakes add penalty time, and the finish and ranking come down to total time.

Goal: Clear every station and cross the finish with the lowest total time.

SECTOR plays out in a real city. Play smart and at your own risk:

  • !You play at your own risk — watch out for yourself and everyone around you.
  • !Follow the traffic rules (StVO): mind the road, don’t run a red light, don’t get distracted at the wheel.
  • !Stay out of dangerous places: abandoned buildings, rooftops, railways, construction sites, water.
  • !Respect private property and the peace of the people around you.
  • !Mind the weather, stay hydrated and don’t overestimate your strength.
